13th March 2014 – Compulsory Pre-Claim ACAS Conciliation Period – Brockholes

The first Lancashire HR Exchange event of 2014 will focus on the Compulsory Pre-Claim ACAS Conciliation Period and how this new legislation will affect the Employment Tribunal process.

Event Details

The Compulsory Pre-Claim ACAS Conciliation Period, which was introduced in the Government’s response to the Resolving Workplaces Disputes Consultation, comes into force from 13 April this year.

Following the significant changes to the Employment Tribunal system seen in 2013, the new compulsory pre-claim ACAS conciliation period is sure to bring with it further challenges for all employers.

This seminar will introduce you to this new and important piece of legislation. We will explain how it will affect the Employment Tribunal process and spell out your legal obligations as employers.

The guest speaker for the event will be Peter Monaghan, Area Director of ACAS, giving you a unique opportunity to hear first-hand of the changes to come and practical advice to help you manage the new regime.

Emma Swan, Partner at Taylors will give her ever-popular update on changes to employment case law affecting employers and you’ll have the opportunity to share knowledge and network with other HR professionals.

Places at the event are limited so please reserve your place now.

We look forward to seeing you there.
