The latest HR Exchange Lancashire event will be held on Thursday 6th September – so please put the date in your diary.
This event features the highly topical issue of Retirement and Pension Auto-Enrolment and bookings are now being taken.
We are delighted to announce the next HR Exchange event takes place on Thursday 6th September 2012.
This event takes a look at retirement and pensions, encouraging delegates to share their experiences of managing people heading towards retirement since the removal of the Default Retirement Age, and looking at how their organisation intends to deal with the new pension requirements which take effect later this year.
This jam-packed session is delegate focused, giving attendees plenty of opportunity to discuss their best (and worst!) experiences of managing these important employment matters.
NEW: ASK THE FORUM
By popular demand, we are also formally introducing our “ask the forum” slot. This ten minute session will allow delegates to ask the floor for advice and support in dealing with a HR issue, of any nature within their organisation. This slot is designed to bring the HR Exchange back to what it is really all about – people working in HR sharing and learning from each other to improve practices in their business.
To allow us to keep control of this session, we ask that anyone who wishes to seek advice from the floor to email their query to firstname.lastname@example.org by no later than 23 August 2012.

We are situated 20 mintues from Junction 29 on the M6 – follow M65 to Junction 7, or Junction 18 on the M62/M60 onto M66 then M65 Junction 7. From Junction 7 M65 take the A6185 sign-posted Accrington. Turn right at the traffic lights – B6231 sign-posted Oswaldtwistle.
Turn right at the next traffic lights and move into the left hand lane bearing left through lights, still B6231 Oswaldtwistle onto Union Road.
Go under the railway bridge and turn left immediately after the New Palladium onto Moscow Mill Street. then travel 200 yards taking a right onto Pickup Street.
We are only a 2 minute walk from the main bus route, buses run from Accrington and Blackburn bus station.
We are only a 5 minute walk from Church and Oswaldtwistle railway station, which can be reached from Blackpool, Preston, Blackburn, Burnley, Nelson and Colne. Trains run approximately every hour. Turn left upon exiting the station and follow the signs for Oswaldtwistle Mills.
